Did it ever occur you were defiling your body too?

"no smoking".... it defiles your body and goes against scripture.. so as a witness, when pushing this train of thought, did it ever occur to anyone that when ever you dug in to those fried eggs, bacon cheeseburgers, and gallons of icecream, you were doing the same exact thing?.

smoking over a long period of time can kill you.

eating artery congesting foods over a long period of time can kill you.

Only the One who said it...truly knows what "truth" is...everyone else including myself is guessing.

Will there be death in paradise?

so, from what i remember,...after armageddon, those righteous jw's who make it through will have to clean up the utter devestation.

imagine 9/11 on a world-wide scale.

they also (from what i remember) will not be miraculously perfect right away.

Robots would not mind cleaning up their dead families...nor mourn them.

Perhaps we are all seperate laptops that all want to be independant of our maker and programmer.......unfortunately...to do such without the required knowledge would be self-destructive...and we can only get the required information from the maker and programmer!

So basically if that is the correct scenerio we are living...we are rebelling and refusing to accept the information freely given...or are we to not be given this knowledge...so we will remain slaves and dependant upon the maker and programmer?

These are the questions that should be being addressed and asked!

But if they are......many powerful leaders will be forced to admit their ignorance...and will lose the faith of those who look to them for guidance and advice.....

However...I am pretty sure that faith in God....is not faith in them and their guesses...no matter how they try to spin it.

JW'S neither Catholic nor Protestant? WHAT, THEN?

the main split in christianity (between catholics and protestants) is the issue of who tells you what to do and how they tell you.

the catholic church has staked out the "chain of evidence" theory which is sacred tradition.

the church has all authority in faith and morals.. protestants (since martin luther) cling to the assertion that the bible alone can give instruction directly, or; sola scriptura.

I would like to someday be leader of an ignorance movement.

I know I do not have a clue on the master plan...and do not want the responsibility of misleading millions by presenting my personal guesses into the plans and thoughts of God as facts and divine secrets revealed to me cause I am better than everyone else.....

The whole concept is in contradiction to common sense!

I see a storm coming for those who do.

I am pretty sure they would change it..if people would not accept and follow it.....(and devote time and money to further it)

Does anyone realize that we have no clue what paradise is for us...if we had a clue on what it was...we could probably pull it off ourselves.

What is paradise for you you would want to live forever in?

Bet you get at least a million different answers to that question.....

JWs leaders:pacifist?

about a generaton ago, the jws leaders' stance was that a jw could defend themself--john 15:13 ("the watchtower," june 1, 1968, p.347).

it was their expanded rules about worldliness that prevented jws from being able to work for the government, including the police and military and defend others.. the jws leaders still have expanded ideas about worldliness and government involvement.

but do the jws leaders still allow a jw to defend themself or have they changed that to pacifism?.

Perhaps physical pacifists........but intellectual and mental predators rivaled only by our leaders in government who write the rules and rule those who obey them.

It is really simple what I see...the line in the sand..or battle lines is this.....

Should information and knowledge be withheld from some to insure they remain servants and prey to those who hold superior knowledge?

Are those good hunters that deserve their reward and booty....or predators who prey on the weak who look to them for guidance and leadership??

THAT is the question..and the argument that began our existance and decadence...that is of yet still undecided...in fact the entire issue is covered up and ignored by both sides.

Perhaps I need to start a topic and get this out in the open.

How about truth and answers?

Undisputable answers and facts are what I want..and I will settle for nothing less..before I follow and obey another man to God.

I would like to see a leader who leads a charge...not ones who order a charge and follow it. (as we have today)

In other words...someone who leads by example...not ordering others to do things they are unwilling to do.

The word for that is "hypocrite".

If God wants easy to mislead sheep and slick judgemental goats to lead them around...They truly are the choosen race and will survive.

If that is the ways things are going to be forever...thats cool...I don't want to be there anyway....

Thats my opinion on it.

Would you want live forever as a Jehovah's Witness? Or would you define that as "eternal torment?"
